“QR Code Concept” from Michelin

At two of the international exhibitions at Agritechnica in November, Michelin will present new developments in concept tyres from its technology centre. Worldwide, 6,600 researchers from three continents, with an annual budget of EUR 622,000,000, are working here, aiming at the tyre of the future. At the headquarters of the Michelin group in Clermont-Ferrand, 12 000 hours a year will be spent on tests of agricultural tyres. Experts will analyse in detail the behaviour of more than 900 agricultural tyres from 50 series. Researchers and test drivers will also describe unconventional ways of discovering the tyres of the future.
