The right choice of summer and winter tyres is very important about the good grip of the tyres with the road and accordingly safety driving. Here are some basic factors about the topic which could help for your correct selection.

How to choose winter tyres?

The caoutchouc for the winter tyres has two types - European and Scandinavian:

The first one is designed for wet road and wet snow (slush). Usually they have a diagonal tread pattern and special grooves for draining water.

Second one is designed for driving in snowy and icy conditions. Here the tread pattern is in chess format. This gives better stability of the vehicle in the specific conditions. Also they are models of tyres with spikes, which helps in the harderst icy conditions.

How to choose summer tyres?

The choice here is mostly based on the driving intensity. In case the vehichle runs small city's distances and tyres have less mileage you can check the budget tyres.

However, if the vehicle runs around 10000 km per month it's better to check the premium class because of the higher and harder loading of the tyres. Also to the the premium class tyres should be pointed the owners of sports cars, where the using of the tyres is extremеly.

The other important factor is the driving comfort. Here on the first place take a role the tread pattern. This criteria influences on the vehicle's speed and grip.

They are 3 types of tread pattern:

Symmetrical - capable to give to the vehicle a reliable grip and a resistance to the aquaplaning
Asymmetrical - designed to improve the stability on the road in case of sharp turns
Straight - perfect for wet roads and rainy conditions
