Goodyear coach tyres are ready for a possible change in maximum weight

Due to the increase in the average weight of passengers and their luggage, and the EU’s efforts to make passenger transport more efficient and to reduce carbon dioxide emissions, the EU Commission proposes that the maximum permitted weight for two-axle passenger vehicles be increased from 18 to 19 tonnes.

The two coach tyres specially developed by Goodyear – Marathon Coach and UltraGrip Coach – thanks to their increased load-carrying capacity, and in line with the changes to maximum vehicle weight for passenger transport already proposed by the EU, fully meet the underlying needs.
