Audi at the 2014 Detroit Motor Show

10 December 2013

Like a four-wheel-drive Shooting Brake, the show car is 4.20 metres long and has the typical, slightly modified radiator grille as well as the characteristic tornado line. The overhangs are short, the roofline is also low, the window line is narrow and the C-pillar is even more pronounced. A tight rear end completes the dynamics of the crossover.

Narrow LED headlights

The front is distinguished by narrow LED headlights, while the grille, with its three-dimensional transverse slats and the Quattro marking at the bottom edge, catches the eye. The look is completed by a bumper with air intakes pushed forward. At the rear there is also a protective element made of aluminium. Audi is still silent about the drivetrain, but there will certainly be an E-Tron unit on board – at least that is what the badges suggest for now.

The dashboard tilts towards the driver

In the studio’s futuristic cabin the driver has a sport steering wheel flattened at the bottom. The dashboard does not extend in a straight line towards the passenger but curves back towards the driver in the middle.
